RIMMEL Lasting Finish Primer Base

If you look at the photo above with the hands, I've put the primer on the right. As you can see there's a bit of a shine to it. I don't have faith in the product just because I know that it feels super thick.


PROS:

- Maybe it's really hydrating?
- No weird smell

CONS:

- Feels like you're applying sunscreen, it's quite thick
- Probably not that good for an oily complexation



RIMMEL BB Cream 9 In 1 [Light]

I'm so used to applying the Nars Radiant foundation with my fingers, so when I applied the Rimmel with them it wasn't great. Using a sponge makes a huge difference, it provides a nicer finish. Really nice for work or everyday wear.

PROS:
- The colour suits me (For reference, I am a NC25-NC30)
- Smells nice
- Has SPF and UVB

CONS:

- Not good with fingers, use a sponge!
- It's not buildable



RIMMEL Lasting Finish 25 Hour Breathable concealer [Fair]

I purposely got the concealer in the shade "Fair" to use for highlighting as I wear full coverage foundation. So I don't use it to cover blemishes or dark spots. The formula I find to be okay, but what gets me is the applicator. The sponge tip as a hole that always leaves prints on the skin. The obvious fix to that would be to blend it out with a finger, brush or sponge. When using any concealer I always need to use a tool to blend all of them out anyway, but it is more annoying than usual because the product doesn't spread evenly with the hole.

PROS:

- The colour is good for highlighting (For reference, I am a NC25-NC30)

- Had no issues blending with different foundations (Rimmel/Non-Rimmel)

- Good price point

- No scent

CONS:

- The sponge doesn't help with the blending, please use another tool.

RIMMEL Magnif'eyes Eye Primer

"Rimmel's new eye primer that helps powder eye colour look brilliant, fresh and just-applied all day long."

I do see a difference with the longevity with my eyeshadow when using it and when not. So it definitely works with my creasing situation, but the product isn't the smoothest to spread. Using a sponge is ideal. The colour is extremely light on me. I guess it would be good if you were going for a bright eyeshadow look with that white-cream base? Overall, I think it's good if you are on a budget as long as you can work around it.

PROS:

- Helps with eyes not creasing as fast

CONS:

- It's very white on my skin (For reference, I am a NC25-NC30)
- It feels sticky with you apply, you don't feel it after you powder
- The applicator wand doesn't help blend the product, I would suggest using a sponge


RIMMEL Insta Fix & Matte Powder

"Micro-fine translucent powder mattifies skin, controls shine and fixes foundation."

Ignore the bottom part of the packaging. I was trying to remove the sticky tape residue and silly me used acetone, which ruined the plastic finish. GG TO MY SOUL LOL.

Anyway... I've used Rimmel powders in the past and I've never had issues. This Insta Fix & Matte isn't any different. The finish is very matte. Love the slim packaging so it's great to store in my travel makeup bag. You do get a bit of fallout but not enough where it would be me annoying for travel.

PROS:

- No flashback
- Packaging it thin, so good with travel or on the go
- It smells nice

CONS:
- It's not really a "con", but because it's a really matte finish I have to apply little... But I for some reason always go overboard... But that's more my fault than a flaw... ahaha.


RIMMEL Brow This Way 3 In 1 Ultra Soft Powder [Medium Brown]

I was really excited to try this product as I don't have as much hair on my left brow. It's fairly easy to use if you only just need a block of colour to slap on your brows. Note that I said "block" because the application tip isn't tapered, it's extremely hard to make a shape. The formula is very similar to an eyebrow powder... maybe even more pigmented. I wish there were more shades and application tip was improved but other than that, it's not too bad.

PROS:

- No fallout (Only if applied correctly)
- No scent
- Very Pigmented
- Lightweight

CONS:

- Hard to use if you have no shape to your brows
- The colour is too dark for me for my whole brows

RIMMEL Professional Eyebrow Pencil [Hazel]

After filming that video, I am hooked. I've gone through maybe three pencils already? Plus I have backups. It's simple and does the job. I like how it's not too creamy or too hard.

PROS:

- Colour works well for me
- No scent
- Lid can be used as a brush (I don't use it, but people might benefit from it)

CONS:

- None.... so far :)

- Good for beginners
- A lot of shades for a "drugstore" brand
- Has mattes and shimmers
- No Scent
- Comes with a duo applicator (I wouldn't benefit of it, but some people will)

CONS:

- The payoff isn't that great
- You do get fallout




RIMMEL Colour Precis Eyeliner [Black]

PROS:

Nope, not even gonna go there.

CONS:

- Product only sometimes comes out and because of that, it's really hard to do a sharp wing.
- The finish of the eyeliner makes the black appear more blue-toned, which I don't like.

RIMMEL Wonder'Ful Argan Oil Mascara [Black]

PROS:

- It claims to have argan oil, so probably over time it will be conditioning the lashes

CONS:

- More drying than other Mascaras

RIMMEL Kate Sculpting Kit [003 Golden Bronze]

My tan fluctuates very easily. When I am on the tanner side, this becomes my second favorite Rimmel product next to the Professional Brow Pencil. I'm lazy and I will the bronzer and the blush together and it becomes and very natural colour.

PROS:

- Good if the colour works for you
- No scent
- Buildable
- Travel friend size
- Good price point

CONS:

- Would be good if they had more shades for even lighter or darker complexion

RIMMEL Moisture Renew Universal Transparent Lip Liner

I will be honest... I am not sure what it's meant to do. When applied it feels like a lip primer or something, which is okay but it's very thin if it was just a primer. The formula is good but I think I would have liked it more it was a little bit thicker, the same thickest you would get out of a traditional lip pencil so it doesn't take forever to cover the whole lip.

PROS:

- Feels nice on the lips
- No scent

CONS:

- Feels too thin like the formula will snap off (It hasn't but it feels like it will)
- Not really sure what's it is for




RIMMEL Lasting Finish Lipstick By Kate Moss [43]

I'm not big into traditional lipsticks anyway, I am more of a liquid lipstick type of person now. But I do think this lipstick is quite nice.

PROS:

- Smells nice
- Colour is nice
- Classic lipstick formula
- Good price point

CONS:

- Taste weird, like old school lipstick

The spray feels good quality.

PROS:

- The spray distribution is good
- Good price point

CONS:

- Has an alcoholic cocktail scent (idm, but I can imagine people not liking it)





RIMMEL Lip Art Top Coat [BLUSH GOLD & PEARLESCENT]

I'm not sure what a lip top coat is, but I like this product a lot. These two shades look so beautiful swatched and on the lips but I wouldn't apply these on a creme lipstick as it may contaminate the lipstick applicator.

PROS:

- The colours are beautiful
- Also nice without lipstick under
- No scent

CONS:
- Not long wearing
